I'm revising my previous comment on which piece to use for offtier. I would now say it's better to use Vestments of Spruce and Fir than to have even the 277 version of Shoulders of Frost-Tipped Thorns. Ideally eventually the BiS chest piece is Sanguine Silk Robes but plan on waiting a long while to actually be able to pick those up.
