Being an alt, I'm just trying to keep him as versatile as possible with the other tanks I wind up alongside being so varied (read: bad). I haven't been doing any PvP or DPS with him so I thought I might just use his offspec to help speed through the easier content or keep an avoidance set for more gimmicky encounters. I picked up the 245 Anguish last night in place of my 232 version so I don't see DW being as good in really any scenario other than that type of gimmick due to the runeforges. Slapping the 2h parry runeforge on my other polearm might simply be a better choice but I figure it never hurts to try something new.
Looking over logs, I see that RS accounts for about the same amount of damage for me as OB (~20% each) when I'm using a 2h, so its really forming the core of my threat. Most DK's seem to have gone blood now so its difficult to find someone good to look at and compare parses or gear choices with, but I really like frost and our healers have told me I'm not a chore to heal so I'm going to stick with it for now. If you know any top DK's who've stuck with frost I'd be happy to get their names so I can take a peek at their parses and profiles.
I've never really gotten too deep into tanking until lately but its pretty enjoyable as a death knight as opposed to dropping consecrate and mashing one button. Thanks for the comments.
