Ohhhhhhhhhhh my god? Can it be? Is this like Blizzard's plot to destroy SWTOR by releasing D3 right when BioWare's 30 day free subs expire? Can't kill em with WOW so destroy em with Diablo?!

Bashiok (or Zarhym, I get them confused on Twitter) posted something to the effect of, "Any person or retailer that thinks they have the release date doesn't." The confidence expressed in that Best Buy sign is certainly curious, and I'm still holding out for it to be true, but wouldn't Blizzard announce the date like a month in advance? Given how long the beta has been going, I am positive we are coming pretty close to release but it just seems weird that they would just spring it on us with only a couple of week's (if that) notice.
