Okay so i've been having a issue with keeping my damage up on bosses like rotface, putricied, and blood princes. In a way this may seem very noobish but i'm one of the lowest in damage done yet my dps itself is not as low. Im more curious for some tips on how to keep sustained damage on some of these fights that require me to move alot. Again i just really want to fix this issue its a pain to look a parses where im doing hardly any damage.
Rotface shouldn't be too bad... you can circle strafe to avoid the slime spit, and sprint back in if you get a slime on you. When you have to run out to avoid explosions, run with rotface as long as it's safe.
For putricide your ability to maximize time on target depends largely on your raid's strategy. We generally tank him under where the green ooze spawns, and the melee switches to the ooze as soon as it spawns and then switches back to put when it's dead. The gas cloud is a little different, but if you wait until it picks a target before leaving putricide, you should be able to manage your energy use so you don't cap while moving.
Blood princes... that's a whole other story, but for that, living and helping other people live is more important, as the enrage timer is very very generous.

On a fight like Putricide that requires heavy movement and target swapping, you can up your damage by simply being aggressive about maximizing your time on target. As soon as one target dies, you should immediately be swapping to the next one. This means always knowing where your next target is in relation to your current target so you can move directly to it. Make sure you have your next target selected and are spamming the hell out of your mutilate key as you run to it; mobs have large hit boxes and you want to start attacking the instant you get in range.
Be smart about your energy and combo point usage on high movement fights, too. If your energy is capped as you're running from one target to the next, refresh HfB; if you have a single combo point left on, say, Putricide as you're running to swap to a gas cloud, use it to refresh SnD manually as you run. Small things like this will allow you to use your energy more optimally once you reach your destination.

ok i appreciate it and also found out why my dps was so poor on rotface apparently there is a small bug with forte and it resets to your only settings to everyone around you their dots as well then resets back re-downloaded rogue power bars and i've seen a great improvement. For the putricide advise i thank you. i'm sure it will take a little practice to get flexibility down.
