The ref didn't see it, I guess?

Nobody said anything about any of these several incidents during the game, so she was allowed to play.

They only suspended her the next day when they saw this on ESPN.

Ya. A lot of that is just... stuff that happens. Some of it was just blatantly over the top though. I was pretty surprised that the referees had missed so much after seeing the replays.

I can tell you right now that American Soccer officiating is currently some of the worst I have seen. It completely filters down from the top levels (MLS/NPSL) through Division I/III all the way down to High School and club leagues.

I've lost track of the number of club/HS games I've been to in the past four years where I have had to correct the officials because they don't know the rules of the game.

They gave her a yellow for the least offensive fouls from the video and the other player involved should have gotten a red.
