Pretty cute. Demon's Souls is relatively kid-safe, oddly enough. It uses a similar method to the SpeedChat outlined in the blog. If they hadn't had the unfortunate naming choice of "Sticky White Stuff" for a consumable that enchants your weapon, leading to messages with that text being placed near every female NPC, it would be 100% kidproof (aside from the violence)

My first play through I accidentally, well not accidentally... But I killed my banker (had to constantly drop shit, pretty annoying), I didn't use ANY ranged abilities the entire play through, and killed a couple other NPCs too...
