random funny fact. A friend of mine's grandfather was born jewish. He managed to escape to America before being rounded up and then quickly became catholic and very anti-Semitic because of the holocaust.

correct. He denounced his relgion because he couldn't except a god that would do that to his chosen people. Later in life when his son found at and started to practice Judaism again (this being my friends dad) his grandfather disowned him and hasn't recognized him as a son in ooohh... 20 years or so.
